Camp Log 2-28-03

No Snow!

I am so grateful!  We have been praying for God to supply a plow truck for the camp.  The truck we had been using is completely useless to us, now that the transmission is shot, along with several other problems.  We’ve been watching for the donation of a truck, hoping a plow would already be attached to it, so that we could avoid further expense.  As always, money is hard to come by . . .

But now, here it is, the end of February, and, looking back, it seems God answered our prayer in a different way.  No snow!  We’ve gotten through al of January and all of February with hardly any snow.  Last year, we had feet of snow during those months.  This year, almost none.

Now I don’t know what March holds.  It was in March, 2001, that all of our buildings came down.  We realize that the winter isn’t over yet.  But we will keep looking for God’s answer, in whatever form it comes.  It may be a truck, it may be no snow and an early spring.  And we may end up with snow and no truck.  In which case, we will stay inside, and praise Him for the furnace.  Regardless, He is good!
